First established in 1936, Dane County Parks has grown to over 8,000 acres of parkland. The park system offers many opportunities for year-round outdoor recreation including camping, disc golf, bike trails, equestrian trails, dog parks, hiking, boating, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.

We are confident that the on-line system will help you in planning your vacations or special events by being available when you need it, not just during business hours. The system has easy-to-follow links so that answers to your questions are just a click away.  Check facility availability on the Reservation Calendar, Create an Account or start reserving dates today!  We begin taking reservations for the following year starting on the first weekday in November at 7:45 AM.

Effective November 1, 2007, Dane County Parks Division will no longer allow firewood in the parks that originates from more than 50 miles away or out-of-state. Our Parks staff will have firewood available for purchase upon arrival to the Parks.
